Saw this the other day.
Not sure, but maybe tesco have taken over Chalice? (Same size bottle and description).

Unlikely to be a takeover, IMHO.  Far more likely that Tesco have paid Chalice to badge-engineer bespoke-branded bottles for them.

I agree with you Phil

The supermarkets try to get as many suppliers to produce their own supermarket brand.

I guess that if Tesco sold it under the Chalice brand they would have to price match ASDA where it is 20 pence cheaper, that's why I do most of my shopping at ASDA, better value.

It's not better value if Tesco match it. Surely it's the same value?  :)

But then Asda promise 10% cheaper or they give you a voucher for the difference... they can't all be the cheapest supermarket...

Anyway, popped into Terrys emporium today for something that Asda didn't have, and spotted the hot curry oil on the shelf - couldn't resist, I haven't cooked anything with it yet but it certainly smells lovely and looks like red cola!

Seemingly few ingredients added to the sunflower oil to make it curry oil at
