Anarkali Restaurant (Victoria Rd, Queens Park, Glasgow) after 25 years experience this is without doubt the finest restaurant serving Indian cuisine in Glasgow.

The weekend queues can be lengthy given its popularity, however Cafe India, Mothers Indian cafe, Balbir's, Ashoka, all good Indian restaurants, unfortunately do not come close in quality.

Another notable restaurant in Glasgow are Delhi Darbar, Bishopbriggs, although IMO, not as good as the Anarkali, is still one of the finest restaurants serving Indian Cuisine.

need to try this place out, my favourite at the moment is The Punjabi in charing cross beside the M8, been to all the others mentioned and they don't come close to the Punjabi so will try your place out to see if it can beat the Punjabi, whats their madras and chicken pakora like?

Chicken and veg pakoras are great.

I would recommend getting standard strength curry first to truly taste all the subtle flavours...I find some of these flavours get lost in the madras .

I suspect you will ignore that advice, but the madras is very nice anyway.

Be interested in your view.

Ps Punjab is great I agree.
