...the forum has 19167 members, of whom 2 1/2 (0,01%) are disruptive...

Without commenting on the subject of this thread (which will surely die the death it now so richly deserves), I'm intrigued by the "1/2", Phil. It'll give me hours of puzzling pleasure! :)

I have no intention whatsoever of putting names to my mysterious statistics : the guilty parties know who they are, and that's all that matters ;)

I normally stay out of this nonsense but I really hope CBM reconsiders his position. He's one of the few people who have had regular access to the workings of BIR kitchen, his videos have been invaluble to me(especially his Little Inidia base gravy).A great shame if he goes.

Yes, I think it's probably best if you follow the advice to put account settings in place, so you don't read my posts, if you are so easily offended.  Please let me know when that's been done, and I can then say more, safe in the knowledge that you won't read it.

If I'd committed a crime, the justice system would be hoping I'd repent. The first step would be to understand what crime I've committed, exactly. Could somebody please tell me.  It's only words on a web page, after all. Which words of mine on this thread caused so many insults and threats to be thrown in my direction?

Also, does anyone agree I should delete this whole thread? If at least 75% of the people posting to this thread agree, I'll delete it. Or, if you don't want it deleted, please tell everyone why. Why would you want to leave this thread here, when it could create a bad impression for new members, and people of a weak disposition.

Why not leave the original post and the informative replies in place, George, and just delete the troll(s) and the responses they elicited ?  The original message was perfectly valid, and some of the responses were analytic and helpful.
