Tikka masala (sweet coconut flavour)

Hi guys, I've been looking around for some time now for a recipe like my local takeaway, it's a chicken tikka masala but its lovely and sweet and its go a nice coconut taste to it I'm sure coconut powder is used from the conversation I've had with the guys at the takeaway.
Anyone got any tried and tested recipes, appreciate there is a few already knocking about on here but the ones I've tried don't seem to be like the one I'm after.
Thanks in advance.

Not sure what recipes you have tried. Suggest you give this one a go. I would also add half chef's spoon of ground almond at the start, another common ingredient in CTM. You can adjust the coconut powder (or flour) / almond powder / sugar by changing the proportions of the ingredients to taste. For a more savoury / tandoori flavour add a tsp of tandoori masala powder.
