Lidl Paneer

Haven't seen them sell it before, but Lidl have 'Savera Traditional Paneer Cheese' on sale in their 'Taste of Asia' from tomorrow.

Don't eat it myself, so not sure of the quality or VFM, but thought I'd post a heads up.

Gotta be cheaper and less hassle than making it yourself I'd imagine. ;)

I get the paneer from sainsburys.. its ?1.53 for 200g or thereabouts

Quite decent quality I find !

Tried Waitrose Paneer kadhai yesterday. Couldn't be bothered cooking.

Well paneer isn't paneer if it isn't browned, IMO.

The paneer in this dish looked uncooked and tasted utterly bland !
