LOL, I'll have to send you some of my old Military Survival techniques in catching, killing, skinning and cooking skills...
Don't start me off, or I'll end up telling you about the time I skinned and gutted a couple of rabbits in the Departmental kitchen at College : all bl@@dy h@ll broke loose, I received a formal reprimand from HWMBO, and no amount of pointing out that half my colleagues cooked /meat/ in that same kitchen every day, and what the h@ll did he think the difference was between "meat" and "rabbit" was to any avail
LOL Phil, I remember when I took out a platoon of raw recruits and had snared a rabbit which was still alive in the snare, and I showed them how to dispatch it, and half of them threw up there and then and vowed to become vegetarians...
Once, we gave them all a rabbit on excercise which they had to fend for about 3 days. We reduced their rations on day 1 and by day 3, they had enough knowledge on vegetation to complete the meal...
The look on their faces when they were told that they had to dispatch the rabbit and cook a meal with the rabbit, vegetation and certain ingredients from their rat packs....
It's amazing what you can achieve when you are that hungry
