I don't think I achieved Mrs Athwal's crispness, but of course I did re-heat hers before I ate them, on a non-stick baking tray, and that almost certainly improved their crispness.  Perhaps I should have done that with my own, but I was too keen to try them !

I had the same problem and had to exercise considerable will not to scoff the lot last night. I'm going to reheat in the oven today to see how this affects the all-important crispiness.

Thank you for this, I have been looking for an aloo tikki recipe and was chuffed to bits to find this.
