Following on from Rich's recent post for an Indian breakfast dish, I thought i'd post this.
I first had this just after 6am in Baroda waiting for the first dish to light up on the 60's menu lightbox in an old dimly lit cafe. ;D
I had no idea what it was going to be but was starving after travelling up from Mumbai and as it was the only dish ready, that was my choice.
It was fantastic! Since then, i have made the dish many times using Vahchefs recipe and its just the same as it was that first time in India.
The only difference to that and Sanjay's recipe, was the addition of a handful of small diced potatoes which i also add.(parboiled)
