Just saying hello ...I dabbled with making 'proper' curries many years ago,although I achieved decent texture and appearance,I could never manage to achieve the taste that I was looking for,and so gave up :
I've decided to give it another try,as the chilled curries I currently buy from Asda,whilst not too bad taste wise,are IMO exorbitantly priced.
So here's to more nagging from 'the wife' who hates the smell of garlic ;D ;D ;D

Does the good lady hate the 'taste' of garlic as well   If so, just a warning, you will be addicted to this forum in no time, you house will smell like a vampires nightmare, and with that said, now may just be the right time to get that bed made up in the spare room, because you will be spending many a night in there ;D

Only joking, I'm sure she will be enjoying your curries as much as you will enjoy cooking them.
