Curry base spice mix / powder?

I've dealt with Trade Winds before, so I'll give it a go (p&p is same for 150gm as for 75gm, so I have opted for the larger size) but I won't be adding any cornflour.  I assume that this is intended to replace the thickening effect of the onions.
