Have I eaten a curry

I was raised in the West Midlands and can even speak some Punjabi and of course Spanish.
Then I ended up in West Yorkshire so I have probably been eating curries for
some 23 years.
You are right in saying that we have all the ingredients on our doorstep plus a few more that are substantially cheaper than in the UK.
avocados ( sometime I am experimenting with in my curries)
Fresh tamarind pods (my favourite in a pathia)
Oodles of coriander and tomatoes (plum and salad and even green tomaotes)
Loads of varieties of chiles
No lemons but lots of limes
Anyway I am hoping to convert the Mexicans into curryaholics, they have every other food Chinese,Japonese,McDonalds(courtesy of our cousins across the pond) but no curry.
This is set to change ;D
Anyway I look forward to conversing with you all
By the way I am in the North of Mexico in the desert region 30 mins from Monterrey
Hasta la proxima mis amigitos
