Yes do get a tandoor before you go, even the commercial ones are difficult to find - even on the mainland (heard about someone who went there to open a restaurant a few years ago) - as for the islands.....well, it has to be flown or shipped in and that means extra cost!
Guess it will be the balerics or canary islands for you. Caneries are windy and well 'out there' (bit like the Spanish hebridees (sp?) - but the balerics have a reputation and I am sure curry houses where the demand is!
Anyway, I hope you have done your research and know what youare letting yourself in for!
