Keep it clean and, if possible, curry related.

I saw a post earlier about a spice grinder, which I have dropped hints about. I have also made comments about a non non-stick tawa.

Anyone else got any wishes for Christmas morning?

Mine is simple,
A decent recipe for a Pakistani chicken curry (chicken thighs cooked on the bone) I had back in the 80s ;D, Tried many a recipe both traditional and BIR, but none ever came even close

Hi,
I would like a tandoor  but the problem is I would also like it in under a large
pergola and further to this would like it to have a tiled roof, so I am getting none of it :-)

Was hoping for a tandoor too, but not been able to decide on the best option.  Instead I've got myself a second-hand bicycle to try and burn off a few excess calories.  However, I was admiring myself in the mirror yesterday, wearing the helmet that came with the bike.  It occurred to me that it would probably make a really good naan cushion.

I enjoyed it and so did the lads at work if I remember correctly. I'll have to give it another go.

Several, none of which have anything to do with curry :

• That my wife arrives safely at LHR from Abu Dhabi.
• That the floods recede so that my wife can get home from the airport.  At the moment the hamlet is cut off in both directions, and I cannot drive to LHR to collect her.  She will have to travel to London by train this evening and stay with members of her family there until such time as the floods recede or she has to return to Abu Dhabi.
• That the rains would stop, that water would stop dripping on the bed from the electrical fan, and that the built-in wardrobe and the carpet would dry out, all in finite time.
• That a roofer would arrive to replace the lost ridge tile and to assess whether water is entering anywhere apart from that (e.g., under the edges of the tiles).
• And that this could be a normal happy Christmas, the chances of which are strictly zero.
