Tonight I'll be having this for the third time to use up the last of the base sauce. Awesome recipe and easy to cook for a novice like me.

For the last two I chucked in a few whole Thai chillies as I like it with a bit of a kick and the girlfriend doesn't so she can just pick them out.

Thanks Lorrydoo.

Tried this a couple of times and I'm very chuffed with the results. Cheers Vindamoo!

The first time I stuffed it up a bit as I misunderstood the term "sizzle" and ended up burning the chillies and spice mix (should have aborted at that stage and tried again as it would only have been a small set back)

Second time round was gorgeous though and it's very close to BIR. I used slightly less water at stage 5 as I prefer my sauce a little thicker.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the welcome, Josh.

Yes I have been to the Ali Tandoori a couple of times. Very good food.

I currently rate the Red Rose in Lowestoft's High Street which I tend to find myself in at least twice a month.

Hi there,

I'm a 29 year old gent and have always had a love of curries and other eastern cuisine. I have dabbled a little bit in my own creations  :-X. However, I'm only now starting to get a bit more serious and am constantly on the search for new recipes to try and this looked like an ideal place to get some!

Thanks to all those who contribute. Maybe I'll be able to do the same one day.
