Cheers guys, I also looked up an article in the River Cottage book on meat, mutton(3rd season plus) or hoggat(2nd season) are very under rated meats and are actually preferable to lamb!So I thinks a trip to the local halal shop might be in order.

What is your preferred choice of meat and why? I always use lamb, but traditionally I think mutton is always the choice of Asians at home. Thoughts and feedback please guys!

Hello all.......just wanna say that I definitely ain't new to cooking, and most definitely not new to curry! But I am new to cooking a curry that actually tastes how it should! Looking forward to sifting through this site and creating some culinary delights........and the hotter the better! Oh lets not forget the beers too, cooking with a cold beer to hand is like peas and carrots! ;D
