I too found this receipe to be the best for me. I am attempting to cook a genuine tasting takeaway menu for 8 people on Saturday and this, along with several other brilliant recipes I have found on here, unless I mess it up, will make me queen of the dinner parties! Thank you

You Star! Thats the man, it was the previous post where he explained frying the onions in curry powder and turmeric that seemed to make all the difference in the taste of this. I have done it a couple of times and the last time it was super.

I was looking at doing bhajis but they frighten me a bit! I have printed off your recipe though and will give them a go.

Thank you again, you have saved one of my starters!

Hi,

I am a mighty lurker. I have been reading and trying out some of the recipes on here for a while and am a great admirer of the site. I am cooking a curry meal for all of my friends next week and all of my recipes have come from this site. For that I give you a great big thank you! However, I am trying to remember how I cooked a prawn pathia and I have forgotten! And now as I frantically search this website I can't find the recipe! Can anyone help? It was actually for a chicken one, and the poster was talking about how they had been invited into the kitchen of a restaurant and watched it being cooked! A massive long shot. All I know is they mentioned using tomato paste in the first part of cooking it! I have the recipe, but not the method!! Again, as I say, its a long long shot...... thanks!
