Just had a look at Dai's first curry following recipes from this website - it looks fantastic! I'll definitely be giving this a go. Hopefully I'll end up with one that looks just as appetising.

         I have been browsing this site as a guest for a week or so now and think its brill!!! I am only just starting out "curry cooking" at home and hopefully you will all be able to offer lots of advice to a novice like me.
To begin with, which curry base would you reccommend for a beginner i.e. not to complicated but v. tasty. Can I then use this base in any recipe using stated ammounts???
