I saw this and thought give it a try, I was a bit concerned about the amount of water but my this is the best rice I have ever made and it is 100% better then the 3 local takeaways I have tried in my area!!! Brilliant recipe easy to follow and does come out brilliantly!! Thank you for sharing.

Hi All,

Joined the site a couple of weeks back but had to do my online shopping from the basic spices needed in the cupboard and wait for delivery of them from England, living in Germany it's not that easy to pick up quantities and spices you need.

Going to try and make the basic curry gravy today and a madras with it tomorrow, now I have all the spices!!

A big thank you for all the members for sharing there recipes with us newbies and if I manage to cook something which is worthy of being posted I will post it
