one of my favourite places in BL simple because it doesn't pander to the tourist market. looks like an old fashioned public toilet with it's white tiled walls.
very cheap honest food without any frills, try the mince and egg curry, and the pillau rice is the best.

been to tayyabs a few times now after being introduced to it by my pakistani cockney friend. it's a great busy place with an open kitchen and so so much better than anything i've found in BL, which apart from a couple of places are very touristy average. best nann bread anywhere!

  a very interesting read, but wow, arn't indian resauraunts good value in huddersfield. i live southeast essex and i would guess you would need to add at least ?2/3 to the prices you quoted almost everywhere in this area.
