Just made this wonderful base and would like to thank you for sharing it with us....Had to cook it 30 mins longer for the oil to separate, but without a doubt the results were excellent.

Thanx Mike, have had this curry many times in different guises. North Indian Garlic Chilli, South Indian Garlic Curry, South Indian Galic Chilli. I'm sure you get my drift. It was very popular in and around edinburgh, unfortuneately having moved to southampton I don't seem to be able to get it in alot of BIR.(picking up the lingo)

Just a quick Hello from a newbie to the site....Been cooking curries for years tho' and was wondering if anyone has a recipe for a south indian garlic curry? Any comments welcomed.
