Hi Steevee00,

Thank you. That's where I usually get my spices, vegetables etc from. It's really handy, just around the corner from me! I will definitely have to stock up, now just need a weekend to dedicate to curries!

Thanks Chewy, I think I will try your mixture. I have quite a lot of spices, I usually get them from Chester road in Sunderland, but I will have a look in Castletown too because I always like to add to my collection  ;D

Hi Stephen, Seaburn is a lovely area of Sunderland. I haven't had the pleasure of spending much time in Scotland yet but I have visited Edinburgh and absolutely loved it!

Haha curryhell, well maybe in return for some amazing curry recipes I can offer some psychoanalysis?  ;)

Another local lad Gav! Seems to be a few North-Easterners on here!

Thank you very much, I will have to try this! It looks amazing!

This might sound like a stupid question but what do you mean by 'spice mixture'? I am guessing it means a mixture of spices ha but which spices?

Thanks again!

Thanks Gav, I will have a browse through the recipes and pick some to try out.  :)

Haha Chewy, that definitely won't put me off. My favourite restuarant curry is madras, I'd love to learn to make it 'restuarant style' at home. I love side dishes such as saag aloo too. Ooh a 'sand dancer' hmm? Haha well why wouldn't you speak to us mackems? Rumour has it that we are the nicest people in the North East!  ;D
