I would recommend you start with any of Cory Ander's recipes (CA ) .. they're a doddle to follow and give great results ... perfect place to begin your journey through this forum IMHO ..

As a newbie can anyone recommend some good recipes to start with? My favourite out of the Kris Dhillon book is karahi meat, so if there is something similar (or better
) that people would recommend I will give it a go!

Found my way here via twitter. Natterjack sent me a recipe for pilau rice (thanks a lot!!) and suggested I have a look at the site.
I normally have at least one curry dish a week (normally from the "new curry secret" book and I make tarka dhal pots quite often as lunch time snacks for myself and my wife.
The main problem I have is sourcing ingredients, when I first moved to Devon (from Nottingham) I struggled to get whole cloves!!
