Here is another link to the always entertaining Worksop Guardian food site for a low fat Rogan Josh-type curry that uses an interesting suggestion for cooking the spices 'through' using lamb stock later on in the process rather than copious amounts of oil. Interesting.

I'm going to make this on Friday. What are peoples' thoughts on reduction of ghee/oil content anyway?

Are there any topics on the forum anywhere about health related curry issues?

Did he say if the base was used for ALL curries or particular ones?

Here the local paper journalist makes a curry on video, and in the next one shows his pilau rice.

Personally, I would have left the seeds in! It's a pretty basic method but the results look really good.
