Looks good, what recipes did you use?

Forgot to say that if anyone wants to recommend any recipes to try with the rest of the CA base I have left then that would be great

Hi everyone, been lurking on the forum for a while now so thought it was about time I introduced myself and got involved.

I'm Joe from central Scotland. I'm a novice at curry cooking and I'm looking to learn some recipes and techniques. I've had a good look around the forum and this looks like a great place to start!

I had a look at the recipes on here and decided to attempt a few of them. I ordered everything I needed for the recipes from www.spicesofindia.co.uk which is a cracking website and my package was promptly delivered. I had decided to try out a few of CA's recipes so I got busy with making his base sauce, spiced oil, spice mix and masala spice mix. So far I have tried CA's korma, madras and CTM and dipurajas chicken tikka. The curries were all great, I didn't think you could get so close to restaurant quality in your own kitchen! Bit of an eye opener! The chicken tikka which I cooked under my gas oven grill was superb too.

I look forward to chatting to some of you and trying out some more recipes.
