Trainee Chefs / Beginners Questions / creamed coconut

I asked my mum if she went anywere and found some ground coconut could she please get me some as i was having a job finding it.
She did get me some creamed coconut so what I'd like to know is can i use it and if i can whats the best way :-\

I've made this twice now and it's really good, i don't use the food colouring as i don't think it needs it, ;)
Try adding a pinch of paprika it works very well ;D

Hi, I'm new to the cooking curry think and got it in to my head i NEED to learn how to do it.
My family love a good Indian takeway but with 3 teenagers that can eat for England it works out a very dear do. I found dipuraja on you tube and see he is on here, so far I've made and cooked his : BASE GRAVY (brill)
                                     MIXED POWDER (brill)
                                     PRE COOKED CHICKEN (brill)
                                     MASSALA SAUSE (brill)
                                     MINT YOGURT SAUSE (brill)
                                     CHICKEN KORMA (to die far)
                                     CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA (with pre cooked chicken not tikka)
                                                                                          (to die far)
                                     CHICKEN BHUNA (brill)
                                     CHICKEN MADRAS (brill)
                                     ONION BHAJI (not bad but needs onions to be finer)
                                     NAAN BREAD (missing something so not keen)

I've also made chapatti's witch go down well, I'm gooking forwork to reading all your posts and trying them all out on the family :)
