Hi,

I just wanted to introduce myself as I believe I will be on this forum a lot  ;D

I live in the City of Portsmouth which has been blessed with numerous Indian and Thai Take Aways & Restaurants (Some Great, and some not-so-great). Naturally with this influence I have been tempted into many restaurants by the spell binding aroma when walking by and I am now an avid fan of Indian and Thai cuisine.

My love of curries moved to the kitchen after my Girlfriend brought home the Jamie Oliver Ministry Of Food book. Once I saw his curry recipes create the dish from scratch (including the paste) I knew I would have to give it a go. After a very successful first attempt, I've been cooking a curry every weekend. Infact I haven't bought a Takeaway in over a year, but I do enjoy sitting down in the restaurant with friends.

Anyway, I look forward to trying a number of recipes on here and talking to other members of this forum!
