Well, I got my spices, I found a great place that sells spices for about 1pound per 100grams. Much cheaoper than the supermarkets. And they do mail-order    Got a big pot of ghee and some basmati rice too. Over here the prefered rice is the sticky japanese stuff,  nice but not the same.

Ive made the DPhall curry gravy, a madras, and tonight I'm trying a Chicken Tikka Masala.

Since coming to Japan I've been a long, long way from BIR curry for a long long time.  I've been trying to make my own with mixed results, and this looks like the best resource I've found on the net so far. Tomorrows a trip into Tokyo to pick up my missing ingrediants, then it's into an orgy of curry making ;D
