Evenin all
Just thought I'd share with you all tonight's offerings. I made a chicken tikka vindaloo as per Julian C2G's recipe. I can't however claim it to be his as I used Ifindforu's base and a takeaway's mix powder. I also made a Garlic Naan as per my recent post "another naan recipe with youtube video"
The results were delish but I can't compare to anybody else's recipe as I normally make Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi :)

Thanks CH, naturally yours does too, was indeed very nice, needed to wipe the eyes a couple of times though as, hot curry oil, dried chilli, fresh chilli and deggi mirch was a tad more potent than the old jalfrezi usually is.

Hi 976
I watched his YouTube video then prepared the ingredients and cooked it whilst watching it on my iPad and paused when necessary ;)
Sorry, no written recipe :(

Superb phoyos Wayne. The whole thing looks so professional......especially the naan. Mind you, that Stella gets into more shots than a Page 3 model!!
I'll have to give this one a try. Shame you can't get some of our Red Horse from here in the Philippines....as strong as Necastle Brown but only a fifth of the price!!
Well done mate!

Yes, me at it again. Another night of curry. Not as impressive as before. It's just the left overs from last night and the weekend but damn tasty they are. And i mopped the plate with a nice chappati.

this stuff is pure magic. The savoury smell is out of this world. The sweet taste is like nectar

This was what was left behind after my brinjal bhaji (now spelt how most people spell it). It's no different to what i find in any of my takeaway containers the next morning ;D
I just need for someone to tell me how to get it from my brinjal to the rest of my curry dishes >:( >:(
-
That looks nice CH, have you the recipe? pretty please!

That looks nice CH, have you the recipe? pretty please!
;D ;D "pretty please" is not required. What is it you would like the recipe for exactly fishy? The left overs consist of my North Indian Special, my chicken phall, brinjal bhaji and my pilau rice. The liquid gold is from the brinjal bhaji :P. Let me know and i'll point you in the right direction, no worries. :D But i haven't got the recipe for leftovers :( ;D
-
North indian dish please, it looks tasty, good colour, how do you get that red colour? do you use deggi mirch or paprika or other.
Cheers
Rich

The colour comes from deggi mirch, tandoori masala and the colouring used in the spicy onions (by Gazman).
Here's the latest version of my recipe. Any questions just PM me. Hope you enjoy.

Blimey Curryhell that does look the part.
Cheers jb. Gotta say i don't think i can do much better with any of these three dishes. But i will keep on trying ;D. And i will most definitely be doing a side by side comparison with the NIS during my weeks holiday. That should be interesting ::)
Edit - by the way jb, this NIS had only 2tsps chilli and 1 tbsp of mix spice so more of a madras strength, which i off set by the inclusion of a dozen fresh chillis ;D
-
Having been supplied with loads of quality curry pawn all week I thought i'd make a very small contribution. It's getting to that time of night when we all get a little peckish so i thought now would be an ideal moment. My left over NIS from one of my local TA's. No time at all this week to spend in the kitchen :'(
