That naan looks out of this world. How do you get such a rise? Mine just bubble up with tiny pimples like a teenager's face...

Hi Chewy

Looks like a great staff curry mate, shame people don't eat more of this, but i suppose its not usually
on the mainstream restaurant/ta menu

I'm having a bash at cooking a staff curry tomorrow as a break from BIR, I'm liking the idea of simple boiled rice and salad.  What are typical ingredients of a 'Indian Salad'?

Hi Matti,

Fine slices or grated, shredded lettuce, cucumber, onion, lemon juice and a couple of fresh slices of lemon is what comes in my indian salad. Add fine slithers of tomato or pimp it up ;)
Good luck.

Hi Mattie
Simple Bangladeshi Restaurant Salad. (typical) ;)
Diced, Tomato, Cucumber, Red Onion or Shallots, Green Chilli, Coriander, Lemon Dressing, Salt.
Mixed together and squished a bit.

This is turned into a Riatha with the addition of thick yoghurt and I sometimes add some chopped radish/mooli
and season with a pinch of black salt or chat masala.

cheers Chewy
