That naan looks out of this world. How do you get such a rise? Mine just bubble up with tiny pimples like a teenager's face...

Chewy,
That looks like the curries I had from the asian cafes when I was younger, Is there a recipe?
London.

I'll have two portions please CT and a couple of naan as well ;) Naan looks BIR and curry looks like a plain simple staff jobbie which i'm sure tasted fab, hightened by the plain basmati - mmmm :P
-
Not your best looking curry, mate, But I'm sure it tasted nice. Naan looks lovely though :)
-
Nice one as always
best, Rich

Looks very tasty, Chewy! I'd happily have a plate of your curry, rice and naan right now. :)

Hi Chewy
Looks like a great staff curry mate, shame people don't eat more of this, but i suppose its not usually
on the mainstream restaurant/ta menu

I'm having a bash at cooking a staff curry tomorrow as a break from BIR, I'm liking the idea of simple boiled rice and salad. What are typical ingredients of a 'Indian Salad'?
-
Hi Matti,
Fine slices or grated, shredded lettuce, cucumber, onion, lemon juice and a couple of fresh slices of lemon is what comes in my indian salad. Add fine slithers of tomato or pimp it up ;)
Good luck.

Hi Mattie
Simple Bangladeshi Restaurant Salad. (typical) ;)
Diced, Tomato, Cucumber, Red Onion or Shallots, Green Chilli, Coriander, Lemon Dressing, Salt.
Mixed together and squished a bit.
This is turned into a Riatha with the addition of thick yoghurt and I sometimes add some chopped radish/mooli
and season with a pinch of black salt or chat masala.
cheers Chewy
