I read all this, this morning after receiving a tweet - Not bad for a guy - who has spent all his time cooking in his home - his self promotion has been brilliant on twitter and facebook - he did an ebook - now promoting his own powders etc
He has been in a few kitchens as a guest, but he hasn't worked them like any other bir chef and now you can pay 75 squid for his secrets????????
Good luck to Dan thats what i say!
best, Rich

Yes, I see the site has already been updated with a new Quorn Balti recipe. What a fabulous looking dish. Perhaps you get to make this on the course as well.

He's a very enthusiastic marketing man.
I remember reading his blog site, years ago, his recipes were quirky traditional at best and seem to be a compilation of text book recipes with the usual errors.
An everything Indian kind of structure, with lots of blogger marketing.
I like blogs, as there are some amazing genuine foodie blogs on the web.
Setting himself the task of cooking curry for 365 days in a row, (Is quite a popular food blogger, thing to do)
But, its his kids I feel sorry for! ------ ;D ;D (Only Joking)
Now he's had a few BIR kitchen experiences, He's publishing and thanks to
Bob Arora got himself gig's on the demo circuit.
So yet again, its a BIR beginner, teaching beginners. (Quids In and good luck to him)
Just watched this vid again
I hope he's learnt how to stir a pot of onions by now! ::) ;D

Nice one Chewy!
That makes a few out there NOT worked in a bir kitchen for real - publishing and giving courses on how to cook - all good marketers!
Well done to them for their initiative - they all make a few quid.

As I see it, this could be a very good course for someone who has never tried to reproduce takeaway dishes at home. This has the potential to work well particularly with people who hasn't found about this or other similar sites. I wish him good luck and I hope he nails it. However, after trying his jalfrezi recipe (epic failure), I'm unlikely to take his word again without a pinch of salt.

I wonder if Dan the man might open a takeaway like the rest and say the business is so successful then close it due to personal reasons - sorry lack of sales and the time consuming hard work that actually goes into it! Just my thoughts - an eon away from working in and running a takeaway - as all can see with the great vids Chris has put up - SAM works steady away nice cooking technique etc don't look too flustered. And he can stir his onions!
Chewy any chance a couple more great vids from you young sir or from the chef's in your takeaways if you have time -
