What Do Stars and People's "Status" Mean?

What do the different positions mean, i.e trainee chef, head chef, spice god etc reflect? I assume it's for cooking experience and quality posting content? Also what are the stars on some members there for? Thanks, Rob.

The different position just indicate posts and the time you hae spent with the forum, as you grow with the forum so does your position and star rating.
Nothing to worry about.

I would use it as more of a guide to how sad\obsessive some members are, myself included. It's not an indication of a members cooking ability or knowledge, I can vouch for that

You may have noticed the stars and titles under your screen name on your posts. These are just for fun and are based purely on your number of posts. They are no indication of your culinary skills whatsoever!
Stars are "awarded", based on number of posts, as follows:
Trainee Chef - 1 star - zero posts
Chef - 2 star - 50 posts
Head Chef - 3 Star - 100 posts
Indian Master Chef - 4 Star - 250 posts
Spice God - 6 star - 500 posts
Curry Spice Master - 7 star - 800 posts
Elite Curry Master - 8 stars - 1000 posts
Ive Had Way to Much Curry - lots of stars - 1500 posts
For example, you need 500 posts to be a "Spice God" with six stars ;D
The colours of the stars mean nothing; they are chosen at random for member groups (e.g. "admin", "moderator", etc)
