Patak's Madras Kebab Paste

Hi there, I wondered if anyone would be able to help me locate Patak's Madras Kebab Paste.  It seems to only come in 2.4 KG tubs i.e. catering size, and not at all in supermarket sizes.

I may have this wrong but one of the posts on the forum from about 4 months ago seemed to indicate that Patak's Madras Paste was the same thing but in the supermarket version.

I got in touch with Patak's customer services who seemed to be saying they were indeed different.  They even gave me a list of retailers.  None of which that I can find do actually stock it.

Do wiser minds here know different?  I'd be grateful for an opinion on its availability "in the wild"!.

I believe them to be (very) different, and I believe that the kebab paste comes only in large catering size.

Yes, catering size only, you can get it at any asian store that supplies the trade.
or search Tesco online.

Thanks, I looked on Tesco's online, no joy.  The only other online retailer was Amazon.co.uk, or Makro (collect only).

Not sure where to look, I'm in Wolverhampton.

Crikey, I'm amazed you don't fall over it when you go out of the door.  Wolverhampton has oodles of Asian shops; I wouldn't even think of Amazon (unless they are offering free delivery), just go out and explore.

Yeah I'm on the Penn Road on the way out of Wolverhampton.  I'm working my way down the shops on the Dudley Road. 

The main one I tried had just had in a Pataks Achari paste they reckoned was good, but had never heard of the Kebab paste.

I'll carry on looking though.
