Couldn't agree with you more CK.  One of my local BIRs had a family bust up and now we have two BIRs.  Both serve a ' our own special dish' called Bemisal but they are both totally different!  BTW anyone have a recipe for Bemisal? or has anyone even heard of it?

Nice one Terry.  Now, see your ladle?  If keep it at that angle and you move it around in a circular motion pressing the mix into the wok sides (heat on full) and then scrape off you will get an idea of what we are saying about the use of the ladle or spoon back to fuse the spices..  If you live in Oz it is Anti-clockwise motion, if you are in Europe it is clockwise motion. ;D

George my posts were updates to the originals as stated.  The last pot size was the one Mark gave me at our last meeting.  Yes it needs a tidy up and I will do it when I have a bit of time to myself, please be patient.

Andy well done.  I have also been beating this trail along with others on the Forum.  You have encapsulated it all in one bloody good post, it says it all.  Keep up the good work.

Nice one VA looks absolutely spot on just like the one I had at my local BIR the other day; I can smell it from here.

At the risk of upsetting one or two, I suggest you try the one from Mrs Balbir Singhs book, it is great and tastes just like the BIR stuff.  I also use the packet mixes as they are pretty close too.
