Hi CAB.

The recipe I use is very simple.

A cup of plain flour
a cup of eggs
a cup of half and half milk and water
Whisk and leave to stand for an hour or two.

Heat the oil in the oven dish until it's smoking.
Pour in the mixture and cook for 20 minutes, don't open the oven door as it won't rise.
Hope this help.

I've decided I need one of these, but do I buy a cheap 30 odd pound one or pay nearly 60 pound for a Prestige, I've been drinking tonight so will have another look in the morning.
