Hello.
Well, i made CA's Onion Bhajis last night and i just had to come on here and comment about them.
They are absolutely 'SPOT ON'!
No word of a lie, just like the  ones from the Take' away.
I made them using all the optional Ingredients, and although it states adding 50ml water,i found you really didn't need it.
This is a definitely a keeper.
For those who haven't tried them yet,i really urge you to do so.
Well done.

Lets Talk Curry / Re: One mystery never to be solved

No word of a lie.
I made Taz's base a few months back(which is heavy on Turmeric) and blendered it before it had chance to cool down sufficiently.
It went everywhere.
Ever see that episode of 'Only fools, where they painted the 'The Golden Lotus'?
I really wish i bought a Screw-top blender.

That's a  fine looking pan and probably your most prized piece of cookware.
Good work

Paul.
I just checked my oil in the freezer and it's frozen solid.
I use them ice-cube bags which hold roughly 1 tablespoon per segment.
I Will Just pull of the desired amount when needed. ;)

Madras / Re: CA's Chicken Madras

Well it took a long time, but finally made it.
CA'S chicken madras...only we're vegetarians,so substituted with veg/Quorn.
Thursday made spicy oil.
Friday made Base.
Sunday made final curry.
And how was it?
No word of a lie,it was the best curry ive every made!
Everyone,including the kids enjoyed it.
Wasn't bland in the slightest.
A very full flavored curry.
It's hard for me to put into words, but the base sauce really did it for me.
The base sauce really came through the other flavours in this curry.
With some of the other curries i've cooked in the past, the base always seems over-powered .(does that make any sense?).
Defiantly a keeper this one.
Will be trying some other members base sauce/curry recipes soon.
Excellent work ,Cory Ander

Made CA'S spicy oil the other day,so now onto the base gravy

A very easy base to prepare, and very quick, since it misses out the second cooking period.
I noticed no difference in the finished taste, and i agree with CA,the oil separating isn't needed.
Yes,a lovely tasting base.
Ps, i halved everything,as my pan wasn't large enough.

Next,the finished curry..

Everything except the water.

2 for the freezer,1 for the fridge.
