Good video Chris. Thanks for making a positive contribution to the community!

It is somewhat similar to the way I have been experimenting lately.

Hope the vid helps you get where you want your rice.

Doesn't look anything like Indian takeaway rice up here in Glasgow, also up here they wash with cold water. Looking forward to your E-book

Would be good if you can show me a picture of Glasgow rice Gaz, just to see the difference.
i'll go one better Chris than a pic i'll post a video of our Glasgow rice cooked in the same way with hot water from the tap but then using water boiled in a kettle to cook the rice..i'll do some pilau

for a tikka massala, that chicken looks a bit on the white side :)
in my comments in youtube i mentioned i never had tikka to hand so i used my pre cooked chicken..i'm sure your chicken would not be white if you were to cook this yourself and you would obviously use chicken tikka pieces..The sauce its self is tikka flavoured..you need to try my pre cooked chicken the flavours are amazing..every one of my videos are from my takeaway where i work..Some people think my currys are regional thing but they are totally BIR..my methods in the past have been shot down in flames because it's alien to everything else that's on here..below is some videos of my base that we use in the takeway and my pre cooked chicken..This eliminates the use of mix powders..In Glasgow we don't use them we have all we need in the base and pre cooked chicken..spices need time to develop over a long period of time to get the maximum flavour..and not cooked for 7 minutes or more

probably get pelters again for my comments..take it easy on me lads i'm only trying to help..infact i don't even need to do this..why do i do it,, well..my wife thinks i'm mad

regards boaby
