Hi folks! As I am quite new in the curry scene I thought it a good idea to subscribe here. Although Greek, I find that the Indian cuisine suits me very very well. Anyways, see ya :)

I can't play this video from work; does the coriander in the container go in the fridge afterwards?

Yep

Ah, I see. For what reason do you use PPIs?

Barrett's oesophagus :(

Something useful at last - the foil around the pan to stop splatter works a treat as you can build it up like a wall. Doesn't catch everything but certainly cut down my clean up last Saturday.  ;)

I have been doing this for ages and yes, it works. The more often you change the paper, the longer it lasts.  ;)

still cannot understand the reason for the second pan and I actually think it is detrimental to what was produced in the first pan.

What if you were to say, roast the 2nd pan ingredients in a slow oven for an hour or so, then mix through into the main dish?  8)

Sorry. Still cannot see the point. Personal taste I suppose.

Looks delicious Ruby, :P  but does sound a bit odd with the 2 pans.
Looking through some recipes the past few days seems there are countless recipes for Rogan Josh, but they mainly falls into 2 categories.
The original being from Kashmir and having lots of red chillies
and the more modern interpretation having lots of tomatoes.(the latter trying to replicate the red colour?)

The majority are using lamb or mutton and whole garam masala.

Welcome to the forum. Things are a bit quiet at the moment ( not necessarily a bad thing  :D) but enjoy.
