i nuke the for 2 minutes no problem with the chicken.

Is 2 minutes for one portion?  Should that be increased for larger amounts? I find i need 3 minutes to get pilau piping hot and our microwave is no slouch.

Lets Talk Curry / Cook, leave then reheat?

The BIR style is going down a bomb in our house but whilst rustling up a Madras for me and the missus is fine ( complete with splatter ) I am now regularly faced with both daughters and respective boyfriends going mad for my offerings. Whilst this is something I am rightly proud of, the cooking two portions at a time method in time to serve us all at the same time is wearing a bit thin so last w/e I did 6 portions of madras in the morning. The curries were fine and I even split them into different strengths according to taste but, although nobody else mentioned it. I personally thought that leaving them standing all day to completely cold then reheating made the chicken dry and a bit stringy.  Is this because I reheated in pots on stove? Perhaps I should have zapped them back to life in microwave?

Any views / suggestions?

Direct from Smithfield Market for me but only as it is reasonably accessible even if you do have to get up early. Half the price of supermarkets and even bigger savings than local butcher who gets it from same place.  :P

Hahahahaha
I do have one of those but much of the making involves stirring and scraping the pan. Bit difficult with a guard on top.

I think i probably know the answer but is there anyway to at least reduce the splattering. Mrs. ' Doo ' is not far short of banning me from Ruby Building. It is only the fact that she loves the taste so much that allows me to cook the next one each time.  8)
