Having lived in Montpellier last year for 6 months also agree the IR are terrible and very expensive stuck to french cusine most of the time but was dying out for hot spices in the end.
Went to this place wasn't very good to be honest

Ended up going to Manzil's in digbeth food was really fresh got a sheek kebab chicken balti mushroom pilau rice and chutneys, popadums etc. Service was really good and friendly i had had quite abit to drink by the time i got there so decided against having a madras or vindaloo and just had a chicken balti was quite tasty but did miss the heat but didn't want to risk it. ;D Felt stuffed just after the sheek kebabs were like to quarter pounder burgers nice and spicy with fried onions and salad.
