SS your not a bad chap and you obviously say what you think
And on this site we can not taste the videos or the pictures
So if someone posts a picture of a curry I'm not going to say that curry looks the same as the other curry but a different colour
Just nice to give a bit of encouragement other wise people might not post
May be not sincere but nice

Pointless seems a bit harsh
For me it was his version on the Pathia
cant remember the name of the sugar that was new to me and not so new butter ghee at the end
In my eyes a different version

Lets Talk Curry / Re: The blind leading the blind

I think If someone writes an Ebook with passion and honestly and believe their book will influence or help people in to making better curries then that's fine.
It is our choice at the end of the day whether we buy it or not
I've said this before as long as you find one recipe or an idea then that book is Worth having
Sadly I fall in to the category of buying any book with curry on it.
And George if you came out with a book The Fine Art Of Moderating on a curry Forum .
Yes I would buy it

To be honest Axe for me its a bit of a luxury
But you got to make it work for you to get your monies worth
For pro Kitchens I can see why they use them soups and purees come out like velvet no need to sieve
and you can cook at different temps so things will not split
It can do most things
A bit over kill for curries
But I recon I have the smoothest base ;D Even when I put whole spices in with the base there is no trace of them when blended . I don't cook a base in it because of the size ( 2ltr) I like to make a big pot but you could
Obviously grinds my spices
So yes very good but the price
