Without passion there would be no attitude ;D By the way - I watched the US KN a few months ago and it amazes me that there are worse "chefs" over there than over here :o and I use the term "chef" very loosely :-X although some would say I'm loose with more than words >:( (right mike? :P lol)

I'm a huge Gordon Ramsay fan 8) (not in girth lol...... ::) OK OK before Cory says anything.....in girth too :-\ ) and I'd be happy to have him scream at me all day if I got the same results culinary-wise as his understudies (I usually have to pay for someone to talk to me like that :-[ ;D).

I'd give it a go but unfortunately I make Jade Goody look cultured and refined :( LOL

Anyone been watching the new series? How do you think the two chefs compare? Personally I'm a GFR fan ;D I watched the new HK-US series a few weeks ago (I won't give any spoilers ;) but the right person wins it IMO ).

This new UK series is a bit too calm for me although given MPW's reputation I'm sure it won't be long before he throws a wobbler lol

Who do you tip to win it?

Hi pH ;)

Just add enough water to keep the sauce to a soup-like consistency, I like my soup like I like my men (a bit on the thicker side :P lol).

@Woks Up....I only go shoe shopping at the bondage warehouse ;D Are ya sure you wanna join me? I might make you try on an outfit or three :D although I dunno if you'd be able to totter about in my 8" spiked heels :o

Hi Chiz ;)

When I cook curry for a lot of people I usually cheat and make 3 or 4 large batches of different curries - madras, vindaloo, dopiaza and a CTM for the wimps lol -  (sized to feed around 10 people) that way I don't have the worry of making one large batch and not being able to get the spice mixture right for my liking :) I also cook the rice the day before and freeze then microwave to heat it when serving ;D

There again I have to cook it all the day before 'cos these days I need a whole day to get me slap on for a party :'( but that's another sad story ::) lol

Thanks Mike :)

I used darth's base as that was my current fave at that time. The pic I posted was of the leftovers ;) but I got enough for three hungry eaters and what's left above out of it :D I've since made it using Stew's base which gave a bloody good result too, although a little hotter lol ;D

If you prefer a sweeter flavour to your curries, sprinkle your onion rings with a little salt while frying as it releases more of the onion's natural sugars and cuts down on bitterness i8f you happen to slightly overcook your onions ;)
