was the flavour, and the heat for a madras was not hot , had a little kick but not much compared to Glasgow indian curry houses, just my opinion though, going to try yours next weekend, will let you know what i think

ok i made Darths base tonight and tried the madras recipe, huge mistake as it was crap, i will be trying this base and madras next Sat, made SnS base last week and it was good so will try this one next

just made this , very unimpressed, i suspect Darth is from cornwall from reading his posts , i am from Glasgow and followed the recipe to the T, not good i am afraid, SNS is the other base i made and that was much betterm aww well will try a new one next week

not read your notes about the ashoka yet but i will tonight, they did not show me their base sauce, only how to make dishes such as madras and stuff ,i found the starters easiest to make but i cant seem to make their main dishes so i gave up last year until i saw this website last week, what base do you recommend, i prefer madras curries

Hey panpot i enjoy your posts, have been reading quite a few now and love this forum, i am from Glasgow, Scotland and i would say wee have the best BIR's in the uk, i have travelled all over the uk and been to many BIR as i love my curries but have never been able to make one, i rate these onions as the best, they are exactly the same as the BIR and ashoka in Glasgow
ps what base would you recommend i make
