I find there is not a great deal of difference bewteen them, they all have this certain frozen curry taste.  If I go for a supermarket curry I would go for the new fresh ones which have to be ovened from Tesco, they are a cut above any frozen curry I have had, they even do a spicy CTM.  I find that when you have loaded the plate up with all the extras which I do it is not to bad for a quick fix.

I would be intrested in the Kalia recipe as that is one I have had at a BIR, seems to be different everywhere you go though.

It is the boiling onions in water which stinks and it really does stink as well, almost a toxic smell  :-X

If I ever have guests that can't take the heat I offer them some natural yoghurt to go on there plate, some people I know mix it all in with the curry  :-X
