Talk About Anything Other Than Curry / Re: .

Seriously not sure what the point of all this is, but it's just a full stop in each George.

I'd say yes the first is the mix powder,
The second is the spices that go in the base, which includes the mix powder.

Thank you Martin -- I did indeed fail to spot the period in one point five kilogrammes.
** Phil.
Yep, no probs, but must admit the full stops and commas don't show up too well.

Quote200ml Kashmiri Masala Paste
seems way OTT to me, PB.  15kg:500gm is a ratio of 30:1; 600ml:200ml is a ratio of only 3:1; I suspect you have one too many zeros.

** Phil.
Its 6000ml to 15kg chicken in original Phil, so think his maths is correct. Think it's 1.5kg chicken in the 1/10 recipe.

No, ones a paste, to make your own marinade with, the other is a ready made marinade.

I'm not sure whether either of Ian J's or Sverige's posts are serious or a wind-up.

It is, of course, exactly the same forum - just with a different domain name.

Certainly not a wind up, the old forum used different software, had a different URL and a a different name so why would I link the 2 after 7 years away?

OK, so if it wasn't a wind-up then the next question must be to ask how smart you think you are. Have you ever taken an IQ test, for example? They pose questions related to associations and patterns, similar to a comparison of the site as it was a few years ago, and now. I'm surprised you didn't realise.
Reported to moderator for being insulting to other members.
Just no need George, no need at all.  ::)

Lets Talk Curry / Re: Reverse curry cooking !
April 29, 2016, 12:13 AM
So a dish that would normally take about 10 mins to cook, took 40 mins plus the time to reduce it.
Apart from using Raw meat and not upsetting your wife, sorry, I can't see the benefit of it. :-/

Isn't that a cooking sauce with the offer, not the paste?
