Hi Andy, Thanks for this post and to all of you who are helping us out here! With regard to the pans that you use are they available to us on the forum, can we buy them in a run of the mill shop in the high street? This might help us towards recreating the real deal! CQ

Hi all,
According to the Evening Standard "Chillies are the spice of life". An article was in the paper a couple of weeks ago stating that peppers have been found to kill cancer cells. Alice Hart-Davies discovers that other spices also get the lab's seal of approval.
CHILLIES are good for killing cancer cells and numbing pain.
TURMERIC is good for the liver and Alzheimer's.
GARLIC is good for infections and veruccas
GINGER is good for rhematism and morning sickness
CINNAMON is good for diabetics and bad breath
CORIANDER is good for arthritis and digestion
CLOVES are good for toothache and bronchitis
If curries have copious amounts of oil in them it can be taken off before eating it for health reasons. But it is great to see so many ingredients used are good for us! CQ

Hi Paul, They heat the karahi over an open flame (being cast iron) and then put the hot jalfrezi into it and then squeeze lemon juice over the top. This make it sizzle! CQ

Yes I use Rajah Extra Hot Chilli powder accompanied with scotch bonnet chillies too and also get it from my local Asda. They do lots of powdered spices but not so many whole spices in my local one. CQ
