January 06, 2013, 11:11 AM
Hi all having been up early this morning i wanted to come up with a dish that comprised of some of my favourite curries so i went for CH's nis and my version of chewys achari ghost and i must say it turned out really tasty so much so that the portion i made for my tea was eaten at half 8 this morning and had to make another ;D. Here are a few pics the quality aint the best couldn't find the camera so i used my
phone

I had some base left over so made mushroom bhaji put a bit to much base in just to use it up

Hi steve

if this helps if you have go into ur pictures single click on the image you want then go to file there is an option that says open with then a few options come up one of them should be a picture such as paint you can resize them from there is basic but the easiest way i find as i'm not very computer literate

I don't know about you lot but i find that a takeaway curry never tastes quite as good as if i'm eating in and i think this is all down to perception as you walk up to the restraunt and have the smell coming out of the large extractor fans the mulitued of dishes, breads, starter, tikka tandoori that have been cooking for hours this get the senses going what i'm saying is for me i don't think i'll ever replicate a restraunt dish 100% because of this my senses don't quite get the same stimualation at home as they do when i'm out but what i do cook at home is just as good as what i get from any takeaway

Phall / Re: CH's Chicken Phall

Having posted a few pics CH's asked if i would comment in the thread section to give people a chance to check out the recipe that wouldn't normally so here goes. This  is a great dish i was worried at first that it would be to hot for me i have never had a phall before so i couldn't compare the flavour to a bir dish but the fflavours arfe great it's not just a mouthfull of heat as you might expect if anyone has tried the north indian special for me this is just as good maybe even better so if you like a curry with heat give it a go definetly worth a try.

here is the chicken tikka phall cooked the night before i planned to eat it i always cook my curries that have a lot of chilli in the night before so that my nostrills are not full of chilli i find you can appretiate the flavour better.

and heres it is for dinner last night
