Red potatoes. I use them for everything.

Tried it out tonight. Sharpness wasn't a problem but the depth of the wiggle is fairly shallow. Still it's enough to stop the fries sticking to each other in the fryer and the result was good enough for me.  I used Chewytikka frying method posted above in this thread but my potatoes probably have too much starch because they coloured up a lot.

And this is what it will look like when it arrives Gav! Mine got here last week but I've not yet cut a vegetable in anger. Blade feels a bit blunt but it should get the job done. Banggood prices make for addictive shopping huh? I'm on there daily ordering useless junk

Always try adding "BESTBG" or "BGDEAL" discount codes at checkout, it takes a percent off some items (only works sometimes but worth trying)

You must use hung yoghurt so your marinade is thick and clings to the meat. It's about osmosis. Thin yoghurt or watery marinades just won't cut the mustard as they will never travel as osmotically into the meat.

Interesting! rich you should take up model rocketry because you have some good cheap rocket fuel there. I guess Livo is right though, there won't be a lot of flavour, but if you just want to mix it into a soft drink cocktail then it'll be good enough.

Livo (or anyone) who easy is it to homebrew something which tastes like a decent scotch whisky, and how much cheaper is it than buying from the shops?

Points for honesty Rob!

Well, I'll be honest too - thought the videos are overlong and not a good format for youtube, looks like an imitation of a tv cookery show. People watch TV cooking shows to be entertained (hence the larger than life characters), people watch youtube for practical info on how to actually cook. The format which works there is less fixed shot to camera, more cutaways, edited down, with captions and narration, etc.  Look at "CookedbyJulie" or "Allas Yummy Food".

Traditional indian recipes aren't really what most people are on this forum for, this place is all about pre-cooked base sauce and curries which are whizzed up in ten minutes flat, like restaurants do ("BIR" style).

Someone is spending good money on those videos, there's no shortage of production talent involved but I really don't see it working for you unless you can get a more unique offer in a youtube friendly format, 5-7 mins max!  Also consider steering Hari towards the BIR style as even a numbnuts like Julian Voigt (leviteish on YouTube) got 180k+ hits on a bad video of a bad recipe for base gravy.

My 0.00000002 million dollars supplied.
