Thanks,

Is pressure cooker the correct name for that pot that whistles when the pressure hits a certain threshold?

A search on dadhibais shows a few double burner stoves rather than pots, as I was expecting.

Only had a quick look and didn't see any pressure cookers on there.  Some of the gear is pretty high end industrial stuff remember. What size are you after?  7l or similar?

Ungaria is populated purely by the short haired variety.  This recipe specifies long haired only. My fault - should have mentioned it.  ;)
I understand that they mutate fairly readily, so perhaps keep a breeding colony somewhere near Sellafield and see if some long-haired ones evolve ?  You could also try force-feeding them with grain, and thereby be able to produce Hungarian mongoose foie gras, the income from which would probably enable you to set up your own nuclear reactor in your back yard.

Oh dear? Your knowledge in this area is very sadly lacking ** Phil.  How can I feed grain to an animal that only lives on crustachions?

No need for nuclear reactor - been married to one for over 25 years.  ;)

Chef spoon 'normally' around 30ml  = 2 x tbs ?

Nice idea also Chris using a splash of salvaged tasty goodness to start the next meal.

So your thoughts is that Julian's utensils are a little overpriced and no better than the alternatives. For people like me who moved out of UK to Ireland and has not so many shops around where to look this stuff up, would dadibhais ship them abroad and can a mere mortal buy directly from them?

Rob, I have a normal hob cooker and I think I know what you mean as I saw that in my moms kitchen ware. I think there is already a workaround for it though. :)

Thanks all :)

yes and No.   ;) I think his sonex pan is overpriced. It is certainly better than many alternatives that I have seen but others will likely be on par..

re Dadi.....s  a simple look at the website should answer all your questions.  ;) delivery charges, export enquiries etc etc all VERY easily laid out.

if it helps though the spoon you want will be found putting in a search for 'heavy duty spoon'  I use the 16".  or you can search serving spoon to bring up the cheaper ones at

Reminds me bit of the TA near me that does stuffed and puffed deep fried naans.  A good selection near the bottom of the menu:

Reckon these could be adapted for left overs.  Might be overly filling though.

Rob  :-\

Reminds me of my eldest daughter. Doesn't matter what the menu is or if we are home or away , she will stuff whatever is on her plate in to a Naan and eat it that way.. If it don't go in a Naan then it don't go down 'er throat!!!  ( God that sounds bad )
