Perfect mate, Look forward to your test too, this bloke BB1 is spot on. take your time with the base it does take around 3 1/2 hours and it is exceptional.

Im not sure about those, Are they like hard butter type sachets. if so they will be fine.

You need block coconut you would buy in a little box, not powder, and it weighs 200 grams, dont not use coconut milk either, i must stress do not wonder off stick to the exact recipe, Its awesome!

Well, If i had to pay for this in a restaurant i would of payed no problem and tipped, Quailty food, taste, texture, It was everything that you'de expect from a fine quisine. my wife was more than impressed and both agreed it had exactly the same taste as our local takeaway and no different in any way or form. and our takeaway is quality food. i think that gives you the answer, i will stress keep to exactly to the recipe and the dish recipe, do not go wondering off and add someone elses dish recipe to the base. It will not work!
You will not be disappointed, it's exceptional quality. It is the BIR.

I can definatley vouch that the base is stunning, im pretty good at being a food critic, my wife is even worse! As like many we are looking for good quality, taste, texture etc, 1st one out the pan is the madras, then two chicken curries for the whimp's
Trust me it is very very good, and i thought mine was good!
Just be aware that because of it's consistency it does require a fair bit of blending!

Ok the base is complete, I can say without doubt that the base sauce alone is electric, This is the real bir stuff, In my opinion it put's KD'S, JULIAN'S AND PAT CHAPMAN'S base gravie's to shame. This is what i discribed in another post, A finished curry! like i'de tasted before, For what goes in it the taste is amazing And yes and it has a smokey like flavour to it, It's ready to eat as it is as far as im concerned but im going to finish off with the final dish's i want to cook, And i can say its seem's they are going to be STUNNING!. All i can say is if no one likes this it's time to give up making curries and go do something else. Like growing daffodil's!
