Hiya CH,

Made this last night, with the only difference from the original recipe being I used 2.5 tsp Deggi Mirch chilli powder.

It was very nice, and about vindaloo heat, if not more.

Thanks for the recipe.

I searched for tandoori chicken, and found this thread, I am about to give blades recipe a go, but until now have used Atul Kochaar's recipe found here(not including the black lentil sauce etc)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/tandoorichickenwithb_82082

I find it really good,
has anyone else tried this?

Heres tonights dinner. All went well and was very nice, althought for the mint sauce(Dipurajas recipe) I used mango puree(see pic) and this overpowered the mint taste.God knows what to do with the rest of it!!
The Bhaji's are a recipe I've used for years, & I will upload the recipe soon. They are fab!!
The rice is Dips mushroom rice. using curryhells pilau.(Top notch)

Enjoy

Can anyone confirm that this can be frozen?
I have bought a HUGE tin of mango puree(On offer at tesco ?1 !!!) and once opened i need to use it, so obviously need some recipes!!
The mint sauce is one, but not sure of any others. If it freezes well, I will make loads of pots up.

Well done!!

Any hints/tips greatly appreciated(Maybe needs to be in another thread??)

NJ,
I agree, and although it is a brand I use, note I did not recommend them! I have to say I was impressed with thier customer service though, sending a full set of knives FOC, and the chefs knife for the money is good value, as long as you have a decent sharpener. It does stay nice and sharp, saying that, as in my previous post I am looking forward to a really good quality knife(Again note to wife-Xmas is on way lol!!!)
